Privacy Policy
How Brickline Web collects, uses and protects personal information.

Who we are
Brickline Web is a web design studio based in Carteret, New Jersey, USA. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit bricklineweb.com, contact us, or receive an email from us. "We", "us" and "our" mean Brickline Web.
Information we collect
We collect only a small amount of information:
- Information you send us. When you email or call us, or use the demo request form, we receive what you choose to share, such as your name, business name, town and country, phone number, email address and message. The form on our Contact page does not send data to a server. It opens your own email app with a pre-filled message to us, and nothing is sent until you send that email yourself.
- Email correspondence. We keep the emails we send and receive, including the sender and recipient addresses and the date.
- Technical data. Our site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request.
- Business contact details for outreach. See "Emails we send to businesses" below.
We do not use analytics or advertising tools, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies on this site. The only cookie we set is a small "lang" cookie, and only when you choose a language in the language menu: it remembers your choice for up to one year and contains no personal information. To pick the best language on your first visit, the site also reads the language preference that your browser sends with every request; it is not stored. The site stores one small value in your browser's session storage so the opening animation plays only once per visit. It contains no personal information and is cleared when you close the tab.
How we use information
- To reply to your questions and demo requests, and to prepare a free demo you ask for.
- To provide and support the services you hire us for.
- To send a small number of emails to businesses about our services, as described below.
- To keep the site secure and working.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Emails we send to businesses
We sometimes send a short email to a business we think could use a new or better website. We use business contact details that the business itself has published, such as an email address listed on its website, its Google Business Profile, or a public business directory. We use these details only to contact the business about our web design services.
Every such email includes our postal address and a way to opt out. To stop receiving emails from us, reply "no thanks" or email [email protected]. We will add your address to our do-not-contact list and will not email you again about our services.
Services we use
We share information only with service providers that help us run the studio, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and handles its network traffic.
- Zoho Mail hosts our email, including messages sent to and from [email protected].
- Google Maps. Our Contact page shows an embedded Google map of our studio. When that map loads, Google may receive your IP address and other technical data and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy.
Our pages also link to our Facebook and LinkedIn pages and to client websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep information
We keep emails and demo requests for as long as we need them to talk with you and provide our services, and then for as long as is reasonable for our business records or as the law requires. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we must keep it for a legal reason. If you opt out of our emails, we keep your email address on our do-not-contact list so that we do not contact you again. Technical data is kept by Cloudflare under its own retention policies.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can opt out of our emails at any time. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
California residents. California law, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, gives you rights to know, correct and delete personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that law.EU, EEA and UK residents. We process personal information on these legal bases: to take steps you ask for before a contract or to perform a contract with you, our legitimate interests (replying to messages, contacting businesses about our services, and keeping the site secure), and compliance with legal obligations. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your information, and to data portability. You can object to our business emails at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We are based in the United States, so your information is processed in the United States and by our service providers, which may process it in other countries.Security
We use reputable service providers and take reasonable steps to protect personal information. No method of sending or storing data over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is meant for businesses. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
